We are retired teachers, administrators, professionals and support personnel who have been employees of an English school board or private school in Quebec.

We organize social, educational and community service activities with our members.

We represent the interests of seniors through our participation in CART (the Canadian Association of Retired Teachers).
Pat Steele, presented with a Certificate of Service by ACER-CART President Vaughn Wadelius at the June 2010 annual general meeting. Pat represented your association as an Executive Member from 2003 to 2005. She was also Regional Representative - Quebec 2007 to 2009. As well, she was Director at the ACER-CART AGM from 2000-2003.

We provide the services of a notary for general enquires.

We publish a Newsletter three times a year. Booklets of poems, jokes and puzzles are shared between senior members twice a year.

We support and promote the Robinson Residence, a retirement home for teachers in the townships.

QPARSE is looking at making greater use of e-mail in its correspondence with members. This would help us to reduce the mailing and printing costs that eat up a large part of our budget. If you have an e-mail address that you don’t think the association is aware of, please send an e-mail message to Ellen Holzman through our feedback form.
