President's Message

Lynn Travers, President of QPARSE

Welcome to the Quebec Provincial Association of School Educators (QPARSE)! I am honoured to have been elected to be your president for a second year in a row. It is a great organization, and I believe we have a lot to offer our members.

Anyone who has retired from employment in the English schools and centres in the province of Quebec and is within five years of retirement is welcome to join the Association. So, if you have a colleague who is interested in joining, you can direct them to the application form found on this website. We look forward to welcoming them to our group of retired educators.

The benefits for our members are numerous. QPARSE meets for lunches, outings, and other events (mainly on Zoom these days). We will continue to host these types of activities throughout 2026-2027, constantly learning and exploring new ideas. In addition, we publish a News Magazine three (3) times a year. Copies of past editions can also be found on this website.

I am very open to hearing from our members about any ideas you may have to improve our services to you. Please feel free to contact me at my personal email address: lynntravers@icloud.com

Join us,
Lynn Travers

Our Mission is to promote and enhance the interests and well-being of retired educators through social interaction,
social responsibility, advocacy and cooperation with other organizations on matters of common concern.
